The Bombay High court on Thursday stayed the Maharashtra government's decision to allow students, who have failed in up to two subjects in the standard 10 examination, to obtain admission in the next class. The government had said the allowed to keep term (ATKT) provision would be granted to such students so that they could take admission to standard 11. Adjourning the hearing on the matter till August 27, the court sought all the records pertaining to the decision.
